AUSTIN, Texas – Bank SNB, a division of Simmons Bank, has named Michael Cullen senior vice president of commercial banking and Spence Maier vice president and senior commercial banker in Austin, Texas.

Cullen’s transition to Bank SNB follows 34 years of experience in the financial industry. He has expertise in business development for commercial real estate, C&I, SBA, small business loans, deposits and lines of credit. At Simmons, Cullen will spearhead business development, Treasury Management service referrals, construction loan management and commercial deposit acquisition.

An alumnus of Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University, Cullen also holds a master’s degree in agriculture economics from Texas A&M University.
Spence Maier
Maier will work with Cullen to oversee business development and networking, construction lending and commercial and personal acquisition of deposits, in addition to managing commercial real estate, C&I, OORE, and Land and Treasury Management service referrals.
Prior to joining Simmons, Maier served as senior vice president of commercial lending for Sage Capital Bank’s Austin market. He has 16 years of financial experience with personal and institutional accounts.
