JONESBORO, Ark. – Simmons Bank announced the promotion of Kent Bridger to the position of community president. Bridger has served as community banker at Simmons Bank since 1996.

A lifelong resident of Jonesboro, Bridger graduated with a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. He is a certified public accountant and graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking in Dallas and Barrett Graduate School of Banking Commercial Lending Academy in Memphis. Prior to joining Simmons Bank, Bridger served as a CPA for Goad and Company, PLLC. He is a member of the Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce and serves on the boards of the Nettleton Education Foundation and St. Bernards Foundation Advocates.
